It begins tonight. And with it, the countdown to Pakistan, as well.

My opinion is I doubt we will mess with Pakistan in a military situation. I am suprised that the US has not imposed some sort of economic sanctions on Pakistan. Just think what mess we have going on in Iraq right now and it has a population of about same as Texas. I am of the opinion that Al-Q and Taliban leadership is hiding over the Pakistan boarders. Any information you might have, i would be interested in seeing...

Pakistan stats:
Population: 159,196,336 (July 2004 est.)
Military manpower - availability: males age 15-49: 39,793,586 (2004 est.)
Military manpower - fit for military service: males age 15-49: 24,355,985 (2004 est.)
Military manpower - reaching military age annually: males: 1,891,101 (2004 est.)

The countdown to Pakistan is to an action with the Pakistani military, not against them. Alternatively, they are out of the loop completely and are not involved on either side of the equation.

There is a redundant post from Decius not displayed in this view.
