President George W. Bush said federal relief efforts in Gulf states ravaged by Hurricane Katrina are so far are "not acceptable.''
NOLA mayor agrees. WTF is FEMA doing?! |

I was watching the feed from WWL TV in New Orleans (broadcasting from the local PBS studio since WWL's are down, go PBS!) and saw the mayor of Slidell Ben Morris (part of the New Orleans area) saying if FEMA screwed with him anymore they'd better bring weapons. I don't think this guy could have been any more pissed off. He was saying the reason things were so bad was that FEMA was actively hindering what his people were doing to try to get on their feet, to the point of swearing when he was fully aware the cameras were all on him. |

FEMA should be run by the military. That would solve a lot of the problems. |
