I can now see pictures of my old house on Google Maps. Not from above, but from the street. Its a bit trippy. It makes me miss my old neighborhood... In this picture is the window of my bedroom, which I looked out over my desk when I started working on MemeStreams. |

Actually, to be specific, that picture is of the building the Mormon missionaries lived in. We were in the yuppie complex slightly to the left. Close enough though. It got the nostilga engine to turn over.. Too bad they don't have one of the sculpture in front of the building across the street. Wait! I can pull that one out of some hat I got here.. That was roughly what you saw out of your window when you looked to the left, correct? Go post that up to that site.. |

That picture is as close as they get but the yuppie complex is visible. Too bad they don't have one of the sculpture in front of the building across the street.
They do. These are 360 degree pictures. You can rotate them. But yours is better. Yes, that is basically the view out of my window. Go post that up to that site..
I don't think you can post pictures to Google Maps. |

Now if they could just emulate, ala 3D shooter style, the shady walk from Dataway to the yuppie oasis, that would turn my nostalgia engine :) |
