Well, it all depends on what you think art is.

AND...the idea of a lot of abstract artists was that it was not the art but the PROCESS of creating art that they were exploring.

AND

Following this train of thought - a toddlers work would HAVE to be the work of genius....as a toddler would have NO OTHER MOTIVE in the process of creating art than expressing pure joy in the act.

And that. Is what makes. Abstract Art. Great.
