Ron Paul's Paranoia

Your prognostication about Ron Paul might be right. This was a pretty stupid thing to say IMHO. If anyone needs something to paint him with the paranoid brush this is a prime nugget. Seriously don't understand the strategy behind making a statement like this.

He was obviously tired. The reporter teed him up and he made a nonsentical statement. I don't think this really reflects all that poorly on Paul. Its politics as usual.

I must say I am suprised at the amout of negative reaction Huckabee's ad has gotten. He is an evangelical. Of course he thinks Jesus is the reason for the season. I didn't find his Christmas wish offensive in the least and I don't think he is being dishonest about who he is and what he thinks. The faith of evangelicals is not what I find threatening about them. Its their lack of respect for others who don't share their beleifs that is the problem.

Well, IMO, Dr. Paul was right on this one. Read Chris Hedges American Fascism: Christian Right and It's War on America sometime.

Real eye opener even for me, and I was raised in a Baptist household. Yes, I see it. It wasn't a flippant remark - I think it has merit.
