] Upset over arrest of man with peace T-shirt GUILDERLAND,
] N.Y., March 5 - Protestors descended on Crossgates Mall
] Wednesday. Members of Capital Region peace groups entered
] the mall with clothing bearing peace messages. They are
] upset by the story of Stephen Downs of Selkirk. Downs was
] arrested for trespassing Monday night when he wouldn't
] leave the mall after he refused to remove his T-shirt
] bearing a peace message.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Saddam Hussein indicated on Monday that he does not intend to follow U.N. orders to destroy his Al- Samoud 2 missiles, and challenged President Bush to an internationally televised debate via satellite linkup.

In a three-hour interview with CBS anchor Dan Rather, the Iraqi leader said he envisioned a live debate with Bush along the lines of those in a U.S. presidential campaign, according to the network. The White House dismissed the debate offer as meaningless.

] Testifying Tuesday to the U.S. Senate Intelligence
] Committee, Mr. Tenet said the United States has
] intelligence information on suspected al-Qaida plots that
] could include the use of radiological dispersion devices,
] known as "dirty bombs," as well as poisons and chemicals.
] The plots are timed to occur as early as the end of the
] Hajj Muslim pilgrimage late this week.
