A California State Appeals Court ruled on Thursday that computer code used to "descramble" DVDs is "pure speech," and citing the First Amendment, the court reversed a trial court's order to block the code from appearing on the Web. Victory for DVD Code Cracking |

This is a car that responds to the emotions of the people inside. If it senses a happy mood it automatically takes a picture. (How Japaneese) I need to setup a ubicomp topic. I wrote a paper in college about how potential privacy concerns with ubicomp recording systems in might be curtailed if the system could judge your emotional reaction to a context and file the data accordingly... IMHO this car will "get it wrong" and it will take a while before this sort of stuff is accurate. A funny post from slashdot: Susie: MMmmmmmsmack!kissgrope!
