James Brown was the fuckin' man. Well played Mr. Brown, well played. Your spirit will live on.

On the music family tree, he's one of the big trunks with lots of branches. The cool thing about the music family tree though is that even when old parts die, they live on as long as we remember to pay our respect. I put James Brown right up there with Ray Charles in that respect.
