The economic and political future of our country depends first and foremost on the supremacy of law. [Our future] depends on establishing clear legal mechanisms to differentiate between genuine criminals and the vast majority of innocents. It's not about your government. But does it still apply? |

] It's not about your government. But does it still apply? This essay reminds me of something (you?) memed months ago about the Allied occupation of Germany following WWII, and the frustrations Allied administrators had finding "suitable men" who could operate as managers but weren't associated with the Nazi party. |
