] to use 'buzz' formative identifiers for any of its radio
] stations, except in the geographical area in which
] Cromwell has priority of use,'' court records show.
] Furthermore, Clear Channel said that Cromwell wasn't
] entitled to the trademark, and it demanded that Cromwell
] cease its use of the term to describe its stations.

Whoever's got the highest priced lawyers will win.

It is amazing that we as a society effectively allow corporations to trademark or service mark simple and commonly used words. Of course, this is the same society which regularly sells to companies, the naming rights to public-owned parks & stadiums.
