My voting location changed several times this year. I'm probably registered as an independent but I might have put democrat. I'm not sure. It seemed fishy to me.

The way to assess this is to compare the number of people who voted in the democratic primary in your area with the number of people who voted in it in 2000. If the number is smaller, its a smoking gun, as registration is way up this year.
