I think that this article brings up a great question for the future. As the technology of DNA sequencing gets cheaper and cheaper, how can we secure our genetic blueprint and privacy? The "technology" used in this article reminds me of the scene in Gattaca, where Uma Thurman steals a hair from her boyfriend and has it secretly sequenced (via a walkup bankteller type establishment) to ensure that he has a solid genetic background for breeding.
