41 for me. This is one of those things that NetFlix does very well.

They have a list of the Top 100 films rented at NetFlix (heavily biased toward modern releases, especially new ones [if 40% of rentals are new releases, and they now have more customers than ever before]). They also offer a list of every Academy Award winner, Sundance winners (by category), Independent Spirit Award, Razzie (worst in category), and the American Film Institutes Top 100 lists of Top Movies, Top Laughs, Top Thrills, Top Passions. They also offer the critical assessments of multiple prominent critics. I expect to see this Time list offered soon. Long Tail, baby.

Reads like an ad, but you can imagine how handy it is when you realize how few of the films that have won Best Screenplay Oscars you've seen. Or for keeping track of what you have seen -- NetFlix knows my feelings on almost 600 movies.
