"In regards to selling American ports to the United Arab Emirates, not just NO — but HELL NO," conservative Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., wrote Bush in a terse letter on Wednesday that she also posted on her Web site.

I don't get what the problem is. Its a company from Dubai. Its like doing business with Singapore.

I don't get what the problem is. Its a company from Dubai. Its like doing business with Singapore.

No, it's a state owned company from the UAR (the capital of which is Dubai). Even if Singapore weren't owned by the People's Republic (that red China) I still wouldn't put a national security area in the hands of a foreign power. That's the bottom line.
