CAN YOU DIG IT!!!!???

OK.. Now for those who have not seen The Warriors, this makes absolutely no sense.

Let me (attempt to) clarify.. The movie starts off when Cyrus, who is the leader of The Riffs, the most powerful gang in New York, calls a meeting to unite all the gangs. The gangs in the city out number the city's police force and would in theory be able to control the city if they cooperated. As you can hear in the clip, the majority of the gangs dug the idea.

Iran wants to be warlord.

Immediately after the "can you dig it" sound clip in the movie, the leader of one of the gangs, who reminded me of Ricky Kasso, shoots Cyrus and frames The Warriors, which kicks the movie into action.
