I live in the city. The squirrels are borderline rabid due to all of the human food they're exposed to. In my backyard, daily, I come across one who I'm never really sure if he's going to attack me or my daughter or flee. It's always a 50/50 chance. They've done significant property damage: destroying things in my garage, breaking into my sunroom to get at garbage, clogging up downspouts on my gutters, etc. The possum are almost as bad, and certainly more dangerous due to their claws and teeth. I've caught several INSIDE the house. Don't get me wrong. I'm an animal lover. But the overpopulation and unbalance in their ecosystem make them more than just a nuisance. And don't get me started with the chimney sweeps...
