I assume (and hope) Levy's comments about Massachusetts are tongue-in-cheek. Still, some are already discussing human/robot marriages, but they've skipped over the creation and recognition of true artificial intelligence (which would include sentience, self-awareness, and will), as well as the status of such synthetic persons as legal entities, with rights. I'm sure there will be some very high-tech sex dolls in 2050, but that's about it... unless we include cyborgs, of course. ;)
