Yes, you read that correctly.

This is good. Bio/computer integration is progressing at an acceptable rate. If things go according to my great plan, when my body is too frail to continue living, I will be able to implant my brain into a giant robot body with photon blasters and shit. Kind of like RoboCop, only not lame. I'm not thining human profile here. Being able to fly would be good, but not with some dorky jetpack like at the end of RoboCop 3, that was st00pid. Maybe like a transformer or something. Yeah.. And don't worry, none of that shit that happened at the beginning of RoboCop 2 would be an issue.. I will be _happy_ as a giant robot. I will roam the streets of America fighting corrupt corporations. And help old ladies cross the street and shit. Really.. I can code, so I will be able to preform improvments on myself. I can see this working out..

Kinda like Bender on Futurama?

Sort of. Bender is kind of an idiot and he is 100% robot. Bender would not fight corrupt corporations or help old ladies cross the street without doing something nasty immediately after. Bender cannot code and cannot upgrade himself on the fly, he has limited posibility of personal growth. Bender lacks blasters.

Coding skills aside, you may not have seen the episodes where he:

o gets a part human body
o gets upgraded with weapons
o does indeed help a lady across the street

I think there's more in common with your vision and Bender than you care to admit. ;-)

Sure, I'm not denying it. I think its the giant robot portion I was caught up on mainly.. And yeah, Benders been that too.. Several times I'm sure.

Never used to miss a Futurama episode when I had my tivo in action. Simpsons too. And hell, this makes me think of that one "simpsons did it" South Park episode.

Bender and robots.. "Bender's Ass" would be a good name for a battlebot with a wedge design of some sort. :P However, the robot the guy in this article built is closer to what they use in this:(http://www.robots.org/events.htm) kind of robot fighting. In particular the Sumo Bot ones.

Hrm.. Looks like someone is getting close to having the technology necessary to build a fighting robot based on the brain of a Rat. Yes, this is cool. I like the idea of being able to watch robots with rat brains fight.

That's the kinda future entertainment I want. Oh yeah. Robots the size of large SUVs with animal brains going at it in the desert.

There is a redundant post from Dr. Nanochick not displayed in this view.
