i read that quote and it provokes in me a deeply visceral desire to kick the authors to death

i would guess that in reality this bullshit has the substance of snake oil and motivational speakers

but the very idea that if these people had revealed the deep subconscious memes and they were going to be used as some sort of marketing exploit -- we've hacked the collective unconscious and we're going to make adverts -- that seems a good definition of scum to me

either way there is a very special place in hell for these creatures
