Judge warned Palin in 2005 to back off brother-in-law's job - CNN.com
by Lost at 4:49 am EDT, Sep 11, 2008

Palin's sister, Molly McCann, and Wooten were in the process of getting a divorce when the judge hearing the couple's case said McCann's family appeared to be putting Wooten's job at risk at a time when he would be required to pay child support.

"It appears for the world that Ms. McCann and her family have decided to take after the guy's livelihood, that whatever who did what to whom has overridden good judgment," Superior Court Judge John Suddock said during an October 2005 hearing. "Aesop told us not to slay the goose that lays the golden egg. For whatever reason, people are trying to slay the goose here, and it tends to diminish his earning capacity."

Abuse of what limited power she had. And limiting his ability to pay child support... small town values at work.

Wonderful.

Abuse of power, the 'feeling out' of how easy it might be to ban books her church didn't approve of...stretching the truth...saying things that make me think she really hates due process and the constitution? Oh boy. I can't figure this one out.
Please don't think all women support her. I know for a fact that is not true. I don't even know one that does.

Why? I don't understand that. There are many men with stronger qualifications and also intellect, I suspect. Is it surely for political gain? Because otherwise, I'd think it was all purely to harness the vote of the Christian right and to play into the longing of theocracy that some in our nation seem to hold?

Ok, I admit it. The whole rise of Palin thing blows my little mind and it does threaten me - it scares the crap out of me.

She's hot, and she appeals to their disdain for 'bedwetting liberals.' Think of her as a conservative cheerleader. They enjoy her approval.

Well, if that is true, perhaps she really could get by a foreign policy that consists of a plan to simply stick a tit in Putin's mouth.

What you say rings true, but it is not at all reassuring.

I don't think male voters swung by Palin much worry about Putin, and if they do they see the Democrats as fundamentally weak on hawkish, tough guy foreign policy in the first place.

One thing though... I think the polls are a little skewed just now by people that don't really give a shit about the election, but like the MILF candidate. I don't think a lot of those people will show up. Could be the polling eliminates this factor but... I doubt it.
