What if they really just already knew how f'ed up she was, but how appealing to christians? So they pull her in, get the CHristian right, everyone gets in the McCain camp, then she drops out, and McCain ends with Lieberman on his ticket?

Or maybe Matt Damon has it right, it is just a bad Disney movie.
