I knew #1 would be graphical adventure games before I read the article :) Those are the games I loved the most. It's sad to see them gone. The first one I ever played was Police Quest. I liked the way you had to type the commands. Guess I've just always been a fan of the command line.

yes, it is sad to see entire genres left behind, especially when today's capabilities could only enhance their game play. But then again, that's what MAME is for.
