I'm sure a lot of those patches are the result of fallout from the Great Chinese Compromise of 2009, but still... How many times do we get to see the same pattern repeat itself before people start using a goddamn whitelist. It won't fix all the problems, but it'll certainly put an end to a number of old ones that keep biting people in the ass.
