i read it. my math skills, such as they are, are insufficient these days to follow even the minimal stuff at the end there, but the english description of the system is pretty clear. To me, who knows computers, but is in no way a security expert, it sounds pretty good.

i'll be interested to hear what the crypto heads and CompSec folks have to say.

at the very least, it's gotta be better than "Yeah, sure, i trust the manufactuers of the voting machines, the 'auditors' and the programmers." I'd blindly trust mr. schaum before the execs of Diebold.

This is an excellent paper. I think it pretty obvious that the
secure virtual receipt has applications far beyond voting systems.
