No Doubt, this will be classified as another reason for the implementation of REAL-ID act.

Just because the North Carolina Government cannot find a method to automate the processes to confirm the validity of identities.

N.C. State Auditor Les Merritt's office discovered the problem when it compared the 8.1 million N.C. driver's licenses currently in use with the Social Security Administration's database of valid numbers, as well as the federal agency's list of numbers issued to people who are now deceased.

There are software applications that exist today to validate this type of information, and if North Carolina, and other states don't wise up, we're all going to be given a "National ID", and become microchipped.

It's just stupid.
