] demolishing the 15-year-old unfinished high-rise between
] Third and Fourth avenues and yesterday received a
] demolition permit to take down the Palace Amusements
] building at the city's southeast corner.

] since 100 concertgoers died there a year ago today,
] trapped inside by a quick-moving fire that injured some
] 200 others. A circle of eclectic crosses loosely marks
] the footprint of the now infamous club, which burned to
] the ground when pyrotechnics set off by the band Great
] White ignited soundproofing foam on the ceiling.

It's not even funny how cold it is up here.
The pipes are frozen in my office building, and the coffee bar downstairs is closed because of it. So it's COLD, and there's NO COFFEE. Bring on the BLACKOUT.
