No way! I heard him talk last year at an Edge event in LA, I think Jeremy was there too. He told an amusing story about some tribesmen who put little bamboo poles on their phalluses to represent there mood. It might be long with feathers and decorations, or something more modest for an off day. It tied in somehow with Jaron Lanier's talk about post-symbolic communication.
