Using the Tinmith system described earlier, the students at UNISA (in Australia) have been able to get Quake working as an Augmented Reality system on campus. Movement is controled by GPS positioning and firing is controled by a toy gun. Wearable Computer Laboratory - ARQuake |

This guy seems to be building an Augmented Reality system designed for outdoor use (modeling buildings and such for later use in AR systems) as PhD research work. (See another link, coming shortly for more info on applications) Wayne Piekarski Home Page |
