Most Amazingly Annoying Animation
Topic: Arts 12:05 pm EST, Mar  3, 2007

Try not to view this in a populated area.

Witnesses report episodes of homocidal rage induced in viewers of this clip with as little as thirty seconds of exposure.

You have been warned.

Eggs are evil.

OUCH

Really, if you don't like violence you shouldn't look at this URL.

Actually, this isn't violence so much as the beginnings of a fight where opponents aren't well matched. One of them basically one-arms the other into the air and then kinda smashes him like a bug. *splat*

OUCH

Geek porn (Painted ATX FTW!)
Topic: Arts 6:54 am EST, Oct 31, 2005

For those (ahem few) of you who are wondering why it seems this year's fashions in PC cases only run in five styles, Cubic, HTPC, Black, Beige, and Impractical-excess-of-bits-that-stick-out, there's a little hope... Unfortunately the company only seems to be interested in doing runs of cases for resellers, of which I am not.

Thankfully, some of their models are available from http://www.directron.com (who appear to be the only cool Yahoo store in existance) and I just nabbed a burlwood model, which I shall eventually get around to adding extra enamel to if it's not as shiny as the red poplar case on the CaseArts site.

I am really fond of the Purple Comet case, tho. (If you guys at CaseArts see this, Christmas is coming up. :) )

Twisp & Catsby need to be flash

I really think Twisp and Catsby need to be animated flash vignettes.

That's all.

Bot and Cam (3D webcomic!)

First off, these guys are at least 98% work-safe. You'll have plenty of warning before you hit a comic that isn't.

What the webcomic definitely is, is easy on the eyes. 3D art tools are 4 teh win!

3D street drawings. Too cool!
Topic: Arts 2:55 pm EDT, Jul 23, 2005

Julian Beever is an English artist who is famous for his art on the pavements of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium. It's peculiarity? Beever gives his drawings an anamorphosis view, his images are drawn in such a way which gives them three dimensionality when viewing from the correct angle.

It really is pretty amazing.
