Moonie papers, madrassas, Clinton, and Obama
Topic: Elections 9:54 am EST, Jan 24, 2007

I have no doubt that the media will try to politically assasinate this man, just like they did Howard Dean. I've already heard "Obama-nation" several times on major news shows. Even in jest, some idjits take that shit to heart and they know it. I think it is all just fear mongering to discredit an unknown that is a bit too charasmatic. As a democrat, I wouldn't be suprised if Hilary is behind it.
As for conspiracy theories, well, Hilary is THE one that attended the last Bilderberg conference. The media will probably back her as the democratic contender.

Topic: Elections 3:10 pm EST, Nov  2, 2006

Early voting runs through Friday, November 3rd.
KFDM continues to get complaints from Jefferson County voters who say the electronic voting machines are not registering their votes correctly.
Friday night, KFDM reported about people who had cast straight Democratic ticket ballots, but the touch-screen machines indicated they had voted a straight Republican ticket.

Gee, didn't see that coming...

AG: Voter warning linked to GOP campaign - Yahoo! News
Topic: Elections 1:08 am EDT, Oct 20, 2006

State investigators have linked a Republican campaign to letters sent to thousands of Orange County Hispanics warning them they could go to jail or be deported if they vote next month, a spokesman for the attorney general said.

How to win? Make other people too afraid to vote. The word is "disenfranchisement" and it means you've violated another person's civil rights.

Go to jail. Go directly to jail. Do not pass go. Do not drop the soap.

Georgia's Bible Bills gaining support - Bible to be taught in GA. Classrooms
Topic: Elections 12:13 pm EST, Feb 11, 2006

"A push to teach the Bible in public schools, a renewed take on displaying the Ten Commandments at courthouses and even a measure ensuring government employees and students can say "Merry Christmas" without repercussions have won support from members of both parties.

All three measures passed at least one chamber of the Legislature last week by overwhelming votes.

National civil rights groups, though, say they've successfully fought similar measures in other states and wouldn't hesitate to sue the state of Georgia as well, particularly over the Bible class and Ten Commandment efforts."

Utah officials observe Georgia voting

I suppose the folks in Utah want to learn how to 'apply patches' to the machines like the folks in Georgia do.

...It ran out of memory. The actual memory limit quoted by the maker was NOT what it was.
Electronic voting.
Are there any questions?

Trying to confuse the democrats? Change in voting location
Topic: Elections 8:57 am EDT, Oct  5, 2004

I've always voted about a block from my house, along with my husband. This year, I've just been informed that I was moved to a new location. I have no idea where it is! My husband, however, who lives in the same house as I do, is getting to vote at his old location.

WTH is with that?

The only thing that has changed...is that THIS year...I'm a registered democrat. He's independant.

WTH is with keeping all the democrats voting in one place?

UPDATE- Both my husband and I called the office of voter registration. As it turns out, we both were indeed moved, but only I got a new card and notice. He should have got one too. SOOOOO...I feel a lot better now. It just didn't make any sense why to move ME and not him. My dad, a registered Republican, did not get a notice to change polling places either, but he should have as well.

Conspiracy minded? Yes, I admit it...conspiracies tend to exist when things just don't add up.
