"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Election Theft Part Two

] Election Day in the event of a terrorist attack on or
] about that day, a Homeland Security Department spokesman
] said Sunday.

If we have terrorists bombing election posts all over the place, well, I guess that we have worse problems than who gets elected anyway.

This would set a dangerous precedent, based on fear and irrationality. I don't want to hear this bullshit.

I don't see why they would worry about it.
The price was 80.00 on eBay at first - I cuold not give my invites away to my friends at that time. Now the invites are going for about a buck each - and that is barely enough to cover listing fees.

eBay's Accounting Glitch Leaves Users paying Double
Topic: Miscellaneous 2:46 am EDT, Jul  6, 2004

Not only did they bill people double - they took money out of their bank accounts and charged the double bills to their credit cards. They seem very slow at trying to fix things - and I've heard rumors that a class action suit has been filed against them.
