Combine the breath freshening power of bacon w/ the cool taste of mint and this is what you get! For $3.75/tin it's a bargain at *twice* the price.

The Nintendo Wii remote or Wiimote is compatible with the following flash games. Play these either on the PC or the Nintendo Wii itself. The Wii browser will be able to zoom in order to size the games for your television.

It was a matter of time, but here are some flash games that work w/ the wiimote playing in the opera browser on the wii.

Center for American Progress | The Terrorism Index
Topic: War on Terrorism 2:37 pm EST, Feb 15, 2007

To help determine whether the United States is growing more or less safe, FOREIGN POLICY and the Center for American Progress teamed up once again to survey more than 100 of America’s top foreign-policy experts—Republicans and Democrats alike—in the second FOREIGN POLICY/Center for American Progress Terrorism Index. First launched last June, the Terrorism Index is the only comprehensive, nonpartisan effort to mine the highest echelons of the nation’s foreign-policy establishment for its assessment of how the United States is fighting the Global War on Terror. Its participants include people who have served as secretary of state and national security advisor, senior White House aides, top commanders in the U.S. military, seasoned intelligence officers, and distinguished academics and journalists. Eighty percent of the experts have served in the U.S. government—more than half in the executive branch, 26 percent in the military, and 18 percent in the intelligence community.

The full report is available in PDF format. There is also video of discussion on YouTube:

I like it old-school!

I clicked a link for hot judicial action and I got 0wn3d. I'd like to thank the academy, my parents for warping me, Tom and Nick for letting me do this, and my hero Acidus.

Finder or application window offscreen
Topic: Technology 7:59 pm EST, Feb  9, 2007

Sometimes, a Finder or application window will open partially or completely off the screen, and cannot be moved back into a visible area; most often, this happens if one of the monitors is removed from a multiple-monitor system. In this situation, the whole window can be moved back into a visible area by opening the Script Editor in the /Applications/AppleScript/ folder and running the following:

tell application "Finder"
set bounds of window 1 to {202, 103, 817, 508}
end tell

Replace the application's name and the window's number as necessary. The window can be specified by number or by name.

Stupid frikkin os x. I hate the window manager. It sucks and sometimes some windows get into places where you can't resize them. This is the bit of applescript you need to fixx0r anything.

Special Counsel Fitzgerald has made most of the evidence entered into US vs. Libby (CR. NO 05-394) downloadable as pdfs. Start w/ GX1. It's a real page turner.
